Turn It Around: The Story of East Bay Punk is the documentary I've been waiting for. It covers the entire East Bay scene — from the early days of Gilman Street through Green Day, Rancid, and beyond.

If you care about punk history at all, this is required viewing. The interviews are incredible, the archival footage is wild, and it doesn't shy away from the messy parts. The scene wasn't perfect and this film is honest about that. Three hours long and I could have watched three more.
