RIP Chris Cornell

I don't even know what to say. Chris Cornell is gone.

Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog, his solo work — the man's voice was one of a kind. Four octaves of raw power and emotion. "Black Hole Sun," "Like a Stone," "Hunger Strike" — these songs are the foundation of an entire generation's musical identity.

I keep thinking about his last show. He played "In My Time of Dying." There are no words for this. Rest in peace.
