Collision Course

Jay-Z and Linkin Park's Collision Course. This should not have worked. A rapper and a nu-metal band doing a mashup EP? In 2004? On paper it's a disaster.

But "Numb/Encore" is an all-timer and I'll fight anyone who disagrees. Chester and Jay-Z had actual chemistry, and the production holds up better than most of the stuff both artists were doing separately at the time. Sometimes the dumbest ideas turn out to be genius.
