New Fall Out Boy: “Young and Menace”

I gotta be honest, yeah? The last album from Fall Out Boy that I really loved was From Under the Cork Tree. There were a few songs on Infinity on High that I liked, but that’s when they started losing me. Their newer material seems like it reaches a far wider audience, but I always loved that straight punk sound. None of the epic “reach the masses on the top 40 charts” bullshit was necessary.

Well they are now about ready to release a new album, MANIA, and with that the first single: “Young and Menace.”

I couldn’t even listen to it all the way through. It’s not even on the same level of “Light Em Up” (which I do enjoy) or “Centuries” (which might not be so bad if it wasn’t so overplayed). I actually kinda hate it.

However, you should judge that for yourself!

Is this even the same band that put out “Where is Your Boy Tonight?” How?!
