Green Day’s Trilogy Reimagined

Today kicks off the start of Green Day’s first leg of their arena tour for Revolution Radio. Revolution Radio is an absolutely fantastic album, definitely an improvement over their 2012 Trilogy release: Uno! Dos! and Tre! (which I still love, don’t get me wrong, but it’s just not their best work).

Many Green Day fans seem to be in agreement that if the band had just released one album rather than three, it could have been really great. But the beautiful thing is that everyone would likely pick different songs to be included.

I created my ideal 13-track playlist of songs off the Trilogy and realized something while doing it. My top three favorite songs on the three-album release are on Uno! and Tre! (“X-Kid,” “Rusty James,” and “Dirty Rotten Bastards”), but on the whole, I like more songs on Dos! and the majority of my playlist comes from that album.

What 13 songs would make up your ideal one-album Trilogy?
